About us

Seeking Sakinah is a group for Muslim women ages 18–35 in Orange County, focused on Islam and mental wellness. We hold monthly sessions, Movement Club meetups and socials, in partnership with the Islamic Institute of Orange County (IIOC) and ICNA Relief.

Islam & mental wellness

Monthly on Monday evenings at 6:30 PM at IIOC, with Maryam al-Jibaly and guest speakers. Past topics include regulating anger, heartbreak, support systems and preventive health.

Movement Club

Pilates, hikes & more

All-women mat pilates, hikes, kayaking, paddleboarding and basketball.
